Tackling real life issues

At Emerging Youth, social wellbeing is our priority. We’re here to help every child develop skills and strategies for great friendships, grow in social awareness, and strengthen their sense of connectedness and belonging.

Our programs have been specifically designed to empower students as they learn about themselves and their peers in a fun, engaging and safe environment. We have engaging, motivating and interactive programs for students from Year 4 to Year 8.

Learn more about…

  • Our programs have been developed for anyone working with school-aged children. Teachers, counsellors, psychologists, chaplains, youth workers, pastoral care workers, or anyone working in a student support role in an educational setting can help students thrive by facilitating our dynamic programs.

  • Facilitators must complete training to use our programs and resources effectively. We provide training through self-paced eLearning, which means you can complete the training online, at a time that suits you. This training can be counted towards your professional development (if relevant to your role).

  • All our programs are linked to the Australian Curriculum (Personal and Social Capabilities and the F-10 Health and Physical Education Learning Area) and the Nine Values for Australian Schooling (National Framework). We provide clear links to curriculum in our Facilitator Handbooks.

  • Our programs have been developed on CASEL’s theoretical framework for social/emotional learning, and address the following five competencies: self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision-making. To find out more, go to casel.org.

  • You can purchase our programs individually or in a bundle. Click here to look at our options. (Shop page or pricing page)

  • It’s easy to get started. Simply head to our online shop and purchase a package or individual program. After receiving your order, we’ll send you a link to register for the training, and you can get started!

Getting Started

Our programs can be delivered in a school, through a community organisation, or in any context where there is a recognised need for social wellbeing education.

Before you run one of our Premium Programs (Real Friends or Equip), we highly recommend you come along to a workshop. Our workshops are fun, interactive, and set the foundation for program delivery. We offer regular facilitator workshops throughout the year — click here for dates and times.

To get started, all you need to do is:

  1. Purchase or order your program from our online shop (invoicing option available)

  2. Use the online form to book into a workshop!

If you have queries about purchasing a program without attending a workshop, please contact us.

Sharing Resources

We know that getting a program up and running is really exciting, and you’ll probably want to share it with others in your industry or across multiple workplaces. However, when you buy a Program Package, you buy the site license for delivery in one school or organisation only, so sharing resources is not permitted.

All of our programs and resources are copyright, and reproduction is prohibited unless otherwise stated. In other words, even if you work across two schools or more than one organisation, you can only facilitate the program at one. If you have questions about this, please contact us.
